Below are the highlights from any Library systems related projects and initiatives from 2023 to 2026.
- Migrated thousands of archival records (photos, newspapers) from CONTENTdm to Alma Digital (Specto) digital asset management system.
- Migrated thousands of archival records (photos) from decommissioned Centennial History website to Alma Digital (Specto) digital asset management system.
- Worked with outside vendor to digitize campus newspapers, yearbooks, and course catalogs. Imported items into Alma Digital (Specto) and worked with Cataloging Librarian to attach metadata.
- Worked with Library Systems Assistant and Library Staff to implement fully redesigned print acquisitions workflow integrated with Alma system. This included introducing Gobi collection development platform.
- Worked with Assessment Librarian to design, test, and launch Primo VE discovery system.
- Worked with Librarians, Staff, and CCLC Library Consortium to manage database renewals and new purchases.
- Worked with OER/Electronic Records Librarian and Director of Educational Partnerships and Programs/Guided Pathways to implement Controlled Digital Lending (CDL) initiative.
- Worked with Librarians and Staff to quickly and effectively answer student, faculty, administrator, and public questions related to the Fullerton College Library Archives.
- Ongoing work in conjunction with Library Staff and the CCLC Network Zone Manager to maintain physical and electronic records in Alma.
- Ongoing work in conjunction with Assessment Librarian to configure Primo VE to allow students and faculty to effectively find and retrieve information from Library databases and physical collections.
